I'd steer clear of Grinders if your a beginer, can be a nasty wave. It's outa my league.Cheers

nice stoke. Enjoy. I took a mate out this morning at Dee Why on his first SUP session courtesy of nice rental price from Sam at Wind surf n snow.......classic to see him catch his first few waves. he was amazed at the different view point taking off standing up (as opposed to getting to his feet when catching fromprone position) he also moaned abt his sore legs, stomach and arms. Quality. Loved watching his pain when he was caught inside repeatedly!!!!! Especially given the grief he has been giving me this last year.

Well done Sands, its great that you've progressed from flat to surf, it all becomes easier with time and even more enjoyable!

Hey Sands, I feel youre stoke, sounds like youre at about the same level as me.
When you get on those first couple of waves and even ride one right to the end and paddle straight back out without falling of is a pretty good feeling.
SUP has brought the whole stoke of surfing back again
