Ragmen, or Mouth for War by Pantera if surfing. Saints are good as well., and ACDC of course.
Sometimes just some classic 80's does the job.

Bit of Bob Marley if I'm just going for a cruise.

I'm a big fan of the original Misfits as well. Any old school punk rock/rock.

Yeah Joy Division were good!

Strange you should mention boing boing, I stumbled on probably the same article when I got home from work and have been listening to them all evening - I love being surprised by something original and from left field.

Oliver. I'm going to break my own golden rule and text something when i'm very drunk. Yes , South Africa is a white mans cultural desert, like a whole nation of people from Dandenong. Apeing original culture from another world is not cool, mall rats are mall rats. Stupid cars and stupid sunglasses and stupid bitcheeees, can't we do better than this. yes we

I reckon there is something quite different about them compared to The Hilltop Hoods and other Aussie apers. I get a sense of great creativity and humour in their work - it's like they are on a higher level... like in a video game "the next level".

That's gold Oliver thank Faark the guy was wearing underpants .Wasn't it Bruce Lee who first invented the level of challenges in his early movies. Love the cameo with the rat crawling around. Lovely bit of bent humour especially the disjointed rap session at the end.

Yes remember Joy Division didn't the lead singer hang himself? But prefered their music when they became New Order to be fair.

I like to listen to anything by the Prodigy before suppin, but my playlist includes: 'Love is noise' by the Verve, 'Fire' by Kasabian, 'Sweet Disposition' by Temper Trap, 'Doubt' and 'Counterpoint' by Delphic, 'Dog days are over' by Florence and the machine.

Yeah all good there. I like heaps of stuff really but usually the heavier and faster the better.
I'd rather force cricket bats into each ear than listen to Aussie hiphop.

I often listen to my iPod while doing flatwater paddles.

Usually I like to keep it up tempo so playlist is heavy on Drum n Bass like Pendulum, LTJ Bukem and DJ Marky.

Also 2manyDJs, Axwell, Deadmau5, The Bloody Beetroots, Yeasayer and Gaslamp Killers
