Ive got the rest of this months sundays off so lets do it - maybe a quiet little bank down nth kingy or similar - I think theres a bbq at nth end also.
Pretty sure scotty & lacey will be in it - hell, if someone lends me a board I'll jump on a mal for the event - as would cmc Im sure

How about a day where you bring a bunch of boards that you own, each heat or surf you have to take a different board, preferably not one of your own.

You get to check out boards, ride them and see how versatile you are.


When I lived on the beach at Currumbin we used to regularly take 10 or 15 boards and put them under a tree, Mals, fishes, singles, shorty's whatever. You werent allowed to use a leggy, 3 waves maximum and every time you fell off you had to go in and change boards.

It was so much fun and testing to jump off a 9'6 Mal onto a 5'10 Fish then onto a 7' pin single and so on.

I'd be changing boards lots

My numpty half mate (sister in laws brother) did just that.... Speeding behind a speeding Ambo. Pity there was a cop car coming up from behind too. The cop car pinged him big time. Gave hime verbal dressing down that he deserved, and a hefty fine.

Same numpty guy used to work at Ansett. When Ansett went under, he was on the front page of the local paper in the motoring section, whining that he had to sell his ****ty Porsche 944. Photographed with the car, and the mobile contact phone number, For Sale, all visible in the photo. All day that Saturday he got prank calls from the public, shooting him down, telling him to stop whinging etc... and people saying stuff like "hey Porsche wanker"... etc !!

I think we should put LL on a longboard, and CMC on something without fins. Maybe then the rest of us might have a chance.
