Very versatile board actually.

Goes way better than you would think it would in shoulder height point breaks... I kind of knew it would go well in smaller stuff, because when you line it up side by side against even the EvoII Fireball, the biggest difference is really just the drawn pin tail, and the much pointier nose. Many other key ingredients are actually very similar, such as the chines, bottom concaves, rail shapes, rail hardness, and even the rocker really isn't much different.

The pintail gives you those really nice drawn out turns... It's a very fast board. Because you're not even thinking about nose riding, you can actually just concentrate on finding the power zone in the rear, and the mid point trim zone.

Because it is naturally very fast on the big open faced point breaks that I ride, I've found myself throwing in plenty of speed wash turns. Down the end of longer waves when it's down to shoulder height, it's unreal fun just doing some rolling rail to rail "S" turns, but with a stack of weight on the rear foot, to try and hold it tight in the pocket. Stalling S turns.

I wish I had some footage actually... I'm actually tempted to invest in the land based tri-pod mount tracker film system... The board mounted GoPro would just make you all seasick!

At least I can dream of my beautiful Rincon '68 whilst downing plenty of Asahi in Tokyo, Yokahama, and Roppongi. OG SUP is putting me in touch with the guy with the biggest surf shop in Tokyo too.

Here it is again Simondo. If you can organize it to be secured and not go walkys I reckon you'd get great footage.
