Who here besides Lacey has a new heart?!
My Dad went in for some keyhole work today, and got a stent put into a heart artery. The other arteries were fine, seemingly... Just a problem with one... Lucky man! He's 75... Turned 75 just a few days ago. By all accounts he's recovering nicely, and should be out tomorrow...

My other news, I drove my 1/5th Scale Truck into 2nd place on Sunday! So much fun, and nobody gets hurt when you crash!
You get to be your own mechanic, and the Team Driver!

.... no shortage of surf either ...

Yeah, I meant figuratively... Like a renewed heart! I know your heart wasn't transplanted, but your brain was! Just kidding!

Good news Simondo. I hope he enjoys his new lease of life and recovers quickly.

On a lighter note, having known LL for sometime, post operation some say he has a lease of new life.I find this grossly understated.
He is like a cat on a hot tin roof in the surf, dashing here there everywhere, one second he is there the next he is way down there, catches
more waves in one session than anybody.

Thoughts are with you Simondo.

My Dad (72 yo) went in 3 weeks ago for a 'stent' and whilst on the slab waiting to go under the Doc told him that it'd do him no good and he needed a triple bypass.

He had the Op last week which ended up being a quadrupal bypass and 8 days later he's home, resting and in great spirits.

Moden technology blows me away !

My wife has three different heart conditions and was the fourth person in WA to have ablation therapy about ten years ago. She regularly gets told "You're young" when she rolls up to the cardiologist. One more operation - a valve replacement - to go.

What type oF RC Truck do you have Simondo. My first job was at a hobby storewhen I I was 10. Used to race when I was young. Always think about getting back into it but don't have enough time for the hobbies I have now!

Hope all is well.
