Been about 2 years since I had the hearing tested so I went and saw the audiologist today because I though the aid in the right side was letting the team down.
Well I was right about the it being the right side, which was always the weakest anyway, but it wasn't the aid, it was me. It's now deteriorated to the point that it's almost beyond the amplified range of this type of aid.
What the quack can't understand is that anyone with this much differentiation between left and right, should by rights, have some serious balance problems. It's so bad, he's doing a report for me to take to my doctor. Which is going to be difficult, because I don't have one since the last one told me I was obese five years ago (hence my nic).
This is excelent news as far as I'm concerned because I was born hearing impaired, so becoming more impaired is like someone being told they're getting older or balder or fatter, it's just going to happen whether you like it or not.
What I now have is an excellent excuse for being a crap surfer

"oh sorry for dropping in on you and, I have a medical problem"

I wonder if this qualifies me for an incredibly good disabled parking spot down at my local
