Its actually Board Culture in QLD, not NSW.

Yes, we have been nominated for QLD Retailer of the year. We also got nominated for best shop fitout but I couldn't get the submission for that done in time so we missed out there.

We share P co's sentiments exactly - support the independent core surfshops like Longboards Scarborough (and us) while you still have them, or let the big passionless corporates run wild. Hmmm, can't really recall QuikRipaBong doing any posts on the 'Breeze forums - Mark

There are a few of the big chains over here, but there is never anyone in them when I go in for a look. The kids behind the counter alway look bored and playing with the iPhones etc. Sad really
They always have the same boards in there at retail + prices. Not sure what they trying to acheive

Its all about selling fashion doggie dam hate those types of stores.

But mac, nobody goes into them, well maybe tourists but thats it over here.

i like the hot young chicks that work in those joints generally good air con and every stupid question they cant answer i make them get something that is more difficult to get,oh and higher up. they have there place
