Pope bisect travel board: Does any body know much about these and any problems with them as I am looking at getting one so I would appreciate any information. Would also like to know where I can get one second hand if possible or if any one has one for sale that they would like to part with.... Thanks kev

I did a bit of research a few years ago on the bisect when I was going to travel to globe but they were obscenly expensive back then so I didn't go ahead with it. If I was you I would call John R at dripping wet at Bondi and ask his opinion on the boards. I dont know if he sells them but he knows more about boards and travelling with them than just about anyone in this country - and he will be very honest in his opinions of the boards, whether he sells them or not.
It would be my opinion though that you would really be wanting a bisect for travelling and not for everyday use because no matter how good or technically sound these boards are, there would always be a chance of something going wrong with anything that folds in any way.

Whilst they are or were expensive, I have heard only good things about them except for the fin boxes that they use which will only take their fins.

Good router bit, nice router, steady hands, and maybe a jig of some sort can fix that
