Just a quick shout out to all that helped me and my mate at Yal on Sunday morning. My mate dislocated his shoulder after a set landed on him Sunday Morning. I swam in and dragged him out of the impact area and we then proceeded to drift across the bay while I slowly paddled us back to shore, he was in emmense pain trying to put the shoulder back in, I had to attach my legrope to his and get him to hang onto his board and paddle slowly towards shore.

When we were closer to shore a couple of blokes came out to assist and between us and a couple of friendly bodyboarders we got him in past the gnarly shorebreak and onto the beach.

Just so happened there was a doc on the beach who with the assitance of e few volunteers got his shoulder back in. Thanks to everyone involved. Good to see the surfing community down there has still got it all together.

Good news story. I hope your mate's shoulder recovers well and is back in the water real soon. I have done similar to my shoulders and know the pain he would have been in.

He seems all good, general soreness. Was hairy just drifting round in the big blue.

Especially when there was an alledged attempted attack on a bodyboarder earlier in the morning just down the beach from where we were!
