Good timing with your topic,I went out today and the back came good,not as big as yesterday but super fun.I paddled around the corner to have a look at LM and just as I got into position all hell broke loose There were three mates who had a disagreement with one guy,no idea what happened but they traded blows in the water and one of them paddled in and chased this guy off the beach,wow I have not seen anything like that for years.Love to know what started it

What time were you there asea,I surfed greeny inside section from 10 and came out around 12.30.During that time I paddled in at the headland and walked up to LM and paddled out when it happened.are you going tomorrow?
Had another look at the ufo today at Wazza's.

Sounds like a couple of the boys laying some ground rules
I can only imagine the frustration the local yocals go through
with open tourist season year round

Less swell means less people and it had dropped off and a wait for anything half surfable, I took the Redline out first time in ages,perfect board for 1 and the odd two footer,very clean with no fights

Typical. The last five surfs I've had were in good conditions but surfed like I was dragging an anchor. Went out at Greenmount this am and the wind was already in but it all came together and had I a hoot. The new sleeveless springsuit made such a difference in my paddling and overall surfing. maybe when i get back to WA i'll go through winter toughing it out and not use a steamer. probably wuss out within minutes.

Yes you will freeze your balls off atm mate! You have been surfing in warm water, its freezing over here atm!!
But give it a try, dont let me stop you
