Mate, the alley 99 % of the time No No No no no
Coming from bris vegas its 35 min to Sth straddie via the sway and possibly the best wave of your life, if you are up to it. Its doable on any craft (IMO), dont listen to the "doomsdayers" that belive its for boogers and shortys only, its very surfable on a Mal
go there and get better.

So what happens when you nose dive the take off and snap ur board? Or your stuck on the inside copping a bomb on the head, just let go of the board and drill the guy behind you??? From my experience some of the heaviest beachies have been over there. In all seriouse Miko the only advantage of a long board at TOS is for the paddle over.............

good luck finding something up there this weekend, Sydney's just a mess, you can't buy a clean set. It will need an awful lot to tidy it up. Probably won't happen till after Sunday.

I'm committed to going the the VW nats on Sunday, way way out in the western suburbs so tomorrows my only day off

Yes, I was only saying to the missus this morning as we were checking out curly that inside the harbor would be the go.

never actually surfed inside the harbor, this may be the weekend I give her a try.

Cow bay was on today, inside the Tweed River [}:)]
For those that are unfamiliar with this break,it only
breaks in massive swell, its called cow bay because in
wild weather, floods a lot of farm animals get swept
away and drowned,a dead cow wasted up in this very
small bay, hence the name.Last week we paddled past
a dead kangaroo

well i missed it anyway! I really like the alley although yes it can be a bit crowded. as a non-local some of the locals can be a bit agressive - not punchy - just like to let you know they are there! its a good fun wave for me as im not the greatest surfer yet! coast sounds pretty miserable this wekeend guys... any damage to the beaches? might head down for a look in the morning but prob def not surfing!

I'd like to tackle south straddie one day soon - just not sure about the swim across the bar! would prefer to take a boat or jetski over!!

Couldn't find anthing inside the harbor on north side so I went for a walk to Fairy Bower and took this looking north to Queeny.

I should have taken my dirty laundry with me and thrown it in, would've come out nice and clean.
