Has anybody got any tips on duck diving larger volume boards that they would like to share?

Don't bother..do the crocodile roll..

or you can manage your board by (as a wave breaks in front of you ) , by sitting back on the Back half of the board and trying to pop over the wave , one arm stretched over the nose to control the board. Then paddle hard to get through the sets. IMO its only effective up to 4 or 5 ft then any thing over that, check for surfers behind, bail, get low in the waterline , grab the sand if you can and pull through , ha easy.
and practice some more.

agree, but even at 4 to 5 fee tits pushing it. i kind of fell into doing this ollie type thingie bob from 666 ing- much easier to do on a mal
