A good mate of mine spends so much time checking the surf, it's ridiculous. The other day this happened;
He says, "have you checked anywhere else?".
I say, "No, but where's going to be any better, why waste your time?".
I have a 1 minute look, yep, it's surfable. 2 minutes later I'm suited up, and heading for the water.
1.5 hours later, I come in after a great session, and he's decided he'll head out now.
In that 1.5hrs wasted, I would have had time to mow the lawn, do some weed spraying, give the missus one, and maybe even tell her to mow her lawn!
i will paddle out in anything and will always find some fun it. asea has been thankful a few times when he has been ready to bail and im like there are some funs ones out there.....2hours later and he is taking the credit for it
and those bloody cameras pfft
