you could repair it properly and make a feature of it some how, don't try to match colour, just put a cool pattern/symbol/emoji over it. Use your imagination and creative spirit.

You don't need to colour match,as the original pigment has not been damaged,just some clear resin and wax over as has been suggested.

I'm kinda disappointed that no one has suggested that if it was Macaha, he'd just sell it and start again.....

Well it's slow going in here since the old crew left for a private chat room on Instagram to go 5 days without any action in here is a sad thing best you need lot get cracking and post a bunch

Mate I've seen their work amazing but if you doubt go there with your board and speak with Anthony the owner himself and ask the questions see what he says.

Mate - watch a few videos on line on surfboard repairs - go onto sanded Australia grab some q cell , / fibreglass / resin / resin tint to match the colour and away you go . Blokes at sanded are very helpful with any tips / queries you will need .Also is an online Facebook page backyard surfboard repairs where you will get all the advice you need .

worst case if you mess it up sand it out and go again I am no expert - started repairing my own boards about 12 years ago , been a bit slack lately -been surfing the new board last 6 months while had 4 others sitting in the shed waiting for patch ups ( 1 delam / 2 dings / 1 cracked rail ) thanks for the post got me motivated to get into them .

Board repairs bit different down this way , nearest I would trust , top bloke but is 1 and 1/2 an hours drive away ,and would expect weeks if not more before the board came back . These days would cost more in fuel then what it costs to get the board fixed so easier to do a backyard job .

My favourite board has a ding on the deck of it similar to yours from about 6 months ago - luckily I had it copied so still been able to get out with the same board - have a bad habit of damaging boards .
As you can see in the pic - also had the nose broken off / was left in the sun at Melbourne airport causing a major belly delamination -all patched and still goes pretty good / started on the deck repair today
