Its toooo cold down here at the moment - overnight lows of 10 degrees and a screaming SW are doing us no favours. On Sunday I surfed in boardies - I think when I next hit the water I will be pulling out the big guns of rubber to get me through. I can not believe how fast we have gone from an Indian Summer to the middle of winter. Essentially overnight. Today I am wearing jeans, socks, shoes, long sleeve shirt and a jacket........ahhhhhhhhhh Goodness knows how those Victorians and the Gizzie boys get through winter. I have had enough - bring back summer!

i must admit in our winter on the Goldy i rarely wear a jumper and never wear jeans only if i go out at night somewhere basicly shorts and tees i live in.In our winter i wear boardies and long sleeved vest.To those who live south of QLD and to the NZ crew i suppose its a matter of getting used to the conditions and adapting.

As long as the water is still fairly warm its ok. i hate freezing cold water though. Once my toes go numb its time to get out.

Yep - we are entering prime time for some east coast lows now with the SST at 6 degree's warmer than the land. Bring it on I say!!!

Autum into early winter is the best time to be on the mid north coast I say!
