Yes, after my momentous post some time back about being over surfing I dared to enter the water again yesterday.

I stood in the stiff morning breeze with the realization that the forecast had got it wrong, the morning report had also under called the conditions and what I assumed would be 1 foot dribble was head high, reeling wide Alley. 4 people out........

To say I had trepidation would be an understatement, I was nervous as all hell. What if I had another shocker? What if my first surf back was terrible? It was 2-3 feet and I was nervous????

Anyway, I had a cracker. I was riding a 666 but had I have known what was there the Green Hornet single would have been in action.

I won't say I'm back but I will say that even under the ashes the fire still burns.

Good to have you back CMC - now go order yourself a new stick. You will feel even better. I know someone who you know who makes a reasonable stick

Surf report for The Goldie looks OK today too.
Pretty much pumping in Torquay too. Nice straight lines, big long walls... according to Swellnet! How would I know, I'm at desk at work!
