Who would be on yr list then? I thought he pretty much nailed it. Simon n Bob r the two best Aussies - hard to argue there, GG was the king. Al Merrick has been the king since the 80's. in recent times there have been a few other Aussies approaching the top but they do not yet tick the longevity box or have the dominance of Al. - yet. I was surprised Brewer was not on the list - although he did get a passing mention. It's a very select list - not a top 20 but really an all time top 8 And he gives Australia 2.5 slots (GG gets 1/2 as he is a yank but spent most if his time in Oz when his real contributions were made. Not bad - especially when a few of them came before surfing really took off over here.
