Growing up with daylight saving I have always enjoyed it due to more light at end of day. But as I am approaching my first 'early' in nearly 2 decades I am starting to think the early sunlight may be better - I'm sure you QLDers will agree.
Now the farkin clocks go forward an hour tonight and it will be dark in the mornings for the next few weeks. Just my luck.
Your thoughts ?

We had it and I loved it bring it back.I could get home from work and still have enough day light to get all the outside work done which freed up the weekends for play

I long for daylight saving so badly. That extra hour of daylight would be so amazing when bbqing at night and walking the dog. I miss the daylight in the evenings big time. In the UK it's light till 10:30 at night in the height of summer and it is probably the thing I miss the most tbh.

Unfortunately a lot of the rural people here in WA are terrified of change and don't want it - shame really :-(

I'm not too sure we'll ever see it again here , in summer we get light until pretty much up to 8 pm and it looked like that was enough for the majority.
Still that would be something having light until well into the night like the Nth Hemisphere - unreal , could go for a "night" surf if we had that here and our warmer water

I like the concept but are concerned that my curtains will fade as they will get an extra hour of sunlight on them at the end of each day

I get it on the east coast with the sun coming up over the ocean but in WA for most of the time when we had it you lost the chance for an early surf or some form of exercise in the morning.

With a belting seabreeze in the afternoon and not into kiting I never get that excited to do anything on the beach through summer in the afternoon and even without daylight saving its still light in WA in summer till 8pm.

It seems the ones who wanted it the most were the business types who still had time to exercise after their 12 hours in the office. They just needed to get some work life balance

Hahaha ,

I love daylight saving extra hour on the beach after work , great .

I hate the 1 st Monday morning after daylight saving starts , trying to get kids out of bed an hour earlier and get to work sux . But mid summer with twighlight as well , bring it on

Well what do you expect sporto? West Oz farmers are doing it tough enough without having to front up for new curtains every year
