Can't afford either

On the very odd occasion though I pick up an older copy (but new) of both from the second hand bookshop in cooly for $3 - $4.

Yep I was addicted to both and knew when they were due out but I have slowed the past couple of years.
I enjoy the one with the state wraps and the story's about other peoples adventures.

Okay, I may be about to admit to something I'll regret, I don't buy them much unless there's something I really want to have a read of, but there was this one time when the main reason I bought one was because I liked this picture of a some lady nose riding.

I showed my it to my missus and said how much I liked the pic and she said the lady was not so hot and looked funny.

I think her name was Crystal and her last name started with a D.

I don't know why but for some strange reason I find pictures of women nose riding really attractive, much more so than pics of them doing anything else on a longboard.

Am I alone in my perversion?

I think it's because when women noes ride they tend to stick out there hips and chest

That pic wasn't from a maldives trip was it?

And to answer your last question - No

No, definitely not the Maldives because I think there where highrise in the back ground, possibly goldy.

But she wasn't from Oz, I'm sure she was Hawaiian.

Okay I found it, ALB issue 64, Crystal Dzigas.

I remember why my missus said she looked funny, she said she was too muscley.

That was the bit I liked the most, I just thought she looked really tanned and fit.

Okay boys, if you need me I'll be in my bunk, but I'd prefer not to be disturbed for a while.

See my edit Mac, I found her.

I was wrong about the highrise, it was just a house on a hill in the background.

Just thought I'd make some of you jealous regarding longboard magazines. I love the history of surfing and the names and escapades of all the old time surfers.

Many years ago (probably 25 or so) I went to a secondhand book store and rummaged through their magazine section. Lo and behold, old surf mags, about 20 of them at 40 cents each.

The oldest January 1963, the newest December 1969. Mostly Surfer and Surfing with a couple of Surfing World with Terry Fitzgerald on the cover.

Every now and then I bring them out and marvel at the simple life of past days. The best thing about these mags is that they are still in really good nick.

Today I looked at the cover of what I think was the latest copy of Australian Longboading and there's this pic of someone doing a friken had stand on the nose, it's not bad enough that I have to look at every Tom Dick & Harry just nose riding normally, this guys doing a friken handstand.

Who is he and what sort of board is that? I too cheap the buy it.

Yeh I saw them at the roar comp the other week, I must say they looked the goods.
As some may know it was a real ****ty weekend with a gale. The guys rocked up with their SA tees caps and all and unloaded the van, within 5 minutes one board went flighting in the air and smashed into a shape sail. Gee new board retailing at big bucks and never been wet gets hammered. They started to reload the van fast.

Very nice shape to the SA boards,I cant believe they did not give me any free stuff.

PM me I will take all offers and talk your gear up. mac the mc fan

I have heard from a lot of mates that they stopped buying the mags after the amount of stand up paddling content grew - Whaddya reckon ?
Wonder what backlash there would be if they started putting some smokin shots of Harley or Jc on longboards in Tracks OMG can you just imagine the uproar
