I just bought my son a good quality wettie, however it's chafing his neck bad. I've looked around online and the triathlete's seem to use something called 'Bodyglide'. Any advice is appreciated.

I did consider the rashie option but it's chafing him at the very top of the neck, I don't think that a turtleneck rashie would even cover it up.

Good old vaseline used to do the job when the chafing was under the arms from a wetsuit. Not sure whether it will work the same given the neck is a bit more exposed to the waves and it may be more prone to washing off. Worth a try maybe.

Just be careful as Vaseline is a petroleum product and may react with some rubber products... also, can attract and retain sand which just makes matters 100x worse.

Try a little bit of Sorbolene cream on grom's neck before he puts the wettie on Steve - might do the trick mate

That bodyglide stuff is amazing, I used to use it when was I was training for Marathons and have used it surfing from time to time, I find if i do a 4hr+ surf i'll get some neck chafe so use the bodyglide when i'm backing up. other thing that works just as well and is way cheaper is the Lucas Paw Paw cream, thats amazing for recovery as well...

What he said... Stick with the Lucas brand too, I've tried a few others that don't as as good.

If your after the bodyglide from Rebel sports at Eastlands is only place I've seen it, ain't cheap though...
