Hola fellow longboarders and longboardettes!

I just snagged myself a tasty little McTavish Carver second hand for a nifty little sum but it doesn't come with any fins.
So I was just wondering what kind of fins you would suggest for a relatively new surfer.

Thanks in advance all

Sounds like a good deal however, fins can set you back some bucks.
IMHO, 6 inch centre with FCS G-XQ core. around 150 for the lot.

What ever you do DON'T go any bigger than 7 inch centre.

enjoy nelzy

Proberly doesn't have a centre box so a set of FCS M7 should do the job, cost about $65.

FCS M7 fins are a great set of fins and I use them in all my mals. If the board has a fin box, get hold of a fcs fin box adaptor and you can use the M7 as a centre fin, it will make all the difference. Good luck and enjoy the board..

A board i like also which is super easy to paddle and surf in all conditons is the Donald takayama egg.

But then no board to me will ever compare to a mal 9'0++
