Hi,

Does anyone know the reason for two different M logos. Some have M and star, some have a M and bluebird.

"Inspired by snap turning Swallows, the Bluebird was the premier range of hot single fins in Australia in the 70's"
I'm sure there is something that means it is to be "free" .... could be wrong on that one though, where's 62mac, if anyone knows he will.

When I bought my board a few months ago they had run out of the Stars and only had the bluebird logo. I guess thats their new symbol.

OK mctavish have upgraded ALL their logo.

The Blue bird logo is the new one on the big M

You will also notice the board model logo has changed as well.

If you don't like the "Big M" logo, you can go custom, and get medium, or small "M's" too.

I think it's time we clarified something here :

I do not hate the M brand.

I have the utmost love, respect and admiration for:
Ben - the shaper
Billy - the glasser
Wiz - the fin maker
Bob - the "man" "the legend" "the gentleman"


Nothing more to say on this subject.
