the last few M8s I have done have felt so good under my arm that It's been a must have board for my quiver...and it has quickly become my best mate, it is basically my flashpoint pintail plan shape that I first started shaping around 1973 so its had a few years of research and development, it has morphed beautifully into a quad design...the front fins are toed in and have around 5 to 8 degrees of cant...the rear fins are parallel and have almost no cant...this fin placement seems to marry in perfectly with the tight tail curve of my flashpoint plan shape, producing a board that turns, trims and nose rides,
8'0" x 22 1/8" x 2 5/8"......nose 17 3/4"......tail 15".....2 5/8" thick.....51.81 litres
the M8 is fine in its rail and thickness....the tail is thin and carries a hard edge which locks into the wave face enabling you to get up on the tip....which is a real treat on an eight footer...its fast and free...every one needs a great M8.
