Oh dear once again I find myself looking thinking of the next one.

Kadi' is taking my belovered UFO this Saturday (lucky man) imo.

I love that board but have not ridden it since Lime Splice can.
Every now and then I lose the froth to surf which is so not like me.
So I change it up and get a new stick which gets me back in the groove.

So whats next another UFO with some slight changes and then the artwork!

I have also only ridden a tak scorp, and I think they would be similar also.
But I now in Mac's case if it ain't a mac-t forget it.
Just trying to get him to go shorter thats all.

time to try a fish. Do not tell LL though as it will ruin your surfing!

You should try out a Firewire Sweet Potato - the most fun board I have ever owned. You can take it for a spin at PP. Will paddle you a piece of p*ss.

Now just recall I am still in the market for LB when you decide to move one on.

I wouldn't go old school Mac like a soft railed log because they are not very versatile. Why not look at a different brand? Have a look at a Goddard, Cundith, Tolhurst or even a Takayama.

Ray Gleave ?

I think he rides SUP now so might be perfect for Mac

Brought up on a dairy farm near Uki, Ray Gleave learnt to surf at 14 when his family moved to Kingscliff."Shortboards were just coming in but I decided to go longboards when everybody was getting off them."He had a pro surfing stint but reckons, at 52, it might be time to give away the pro events."The last one I won was the age of 40 and then a couple of years later I went in one at Noosa [and] totally embarrassed myself."I said 'I think it's time to give up here'."Despite coming last in his stand-up-paddle heat at Malfunction he was all smiles."I just do it for fun now," he laughs.

Give him a call - from my dealings with so far I can only say very very good things. Call him in the evenings if you want to chat as he does his thinking then. I can PM you his number if you like. I have been riding two of his boards the last month - which made the chat easy as I could tell him what I liked / disliked.
