Anyone got any ideas how to remove some old stickers off a board I have .

Have a secondhand 666 which for some reason has kitesurfing stickers up both sides .

Have tried acetone which did work but also removed some of the colour off the board .

Eucalyptus oil and elbow grease. There are heaps of wankers on here with heaps of arm sstrength that you could pay to do it. Pm subsasurf for help or his mates

Hahaha , thanks Chrispy and Simondo .

Might do it myself though not sure I would trust the wankers might have too much arm strength and dent the board on me .

Actually I'd use citrus orange wax and grease remover. It's what we use to clean stickers of boats. But I'm am a short boarder so I guess that would make me a wanker too

A hair drier or hot air gun on a very low heat often works well

I recently had a stomp sticker that would only come off 1 mm at a time, heated it up a bit and of all came off in one piece

thinking I might try the hairdryer 1st , if no luck try the mineral turps

wonder how I would go if I went the mineral turps 1st then applied a bit of heat

Hairdryer worked a treat

6 stickers removed in half an hour , no muscle work , no damage to the board , thanx OBCt .

Unfortunately found why the stickers were there , some pretty good paint chips hidden away . No worries will use the paint pens Mac told me about a few months ago to patch those .

And the Missus only thinks I come on here to talk useless shat ,
