Maybe Noosa for winter. The soft Sunshine crew stay out of the water !!

Potentially a place like Lombok Indonesia. Probably not Bali. But semi close to Bali... I would be nice to rack up some serious time in Indo in early retirement....

But I know a wave near Noosa that would suit me in retirement..... Mix that up with Torquay..... I know a few great waves just south of Torquay that will also suit me !

I think I am already there....its just lucky I love cold weather and I have more hair than the average grizzly...

Why settle for one place? Why not buy a nice old liveable ocean going catamaran or yacht and choose where you laid up?

That's my plan anyways, then if you get sick of a place you can move on and take your house with you, or stay as long as you like.

Not Bali so much over it that I an giving my seat away for next months trip.

The issue is not where but when .In retirement you have more options of when you surf (ie not school hols like last Sunday at Crescent where surf was very good but a bit like dodgem cars once you got a wave. and it's winter school hols) ... a don't forget the anti -inflams old fellas

Not yet but will keep an eye out,did surf with ray out there today though and yep he still rips.

ago.I live on a canal with a park layered with trees along the waters
edge.

Anyway it cold and wet here atm,I walked outside and saw this guy
walking without a shirt on remember its cold as,so I think weird I'll keep
an eye out,next second I see this chick wearing JUST a black g sting
WTF,I'm in shock at this stage and still am as I type.They are in the middle
of this park were even on this wet day people walk their dogs and they are having
full blown public sex I mean 69 and the rest FM.

Mate I told the family when they got home and they believe me,they know I like to joke around but they know I saw what I saw.
