I have just been back into LB now for 12 months and understand a bit about board design for purpose.

However I am interested in comments in regard to rocker preference ie flatter or 3 stage or whatever for the general conditions we have at beaches for all round enjoyment for ease of wave catching and performance.

i only like flat rocker for fat points. my CLEARWATER has got some crazy rocker going on,and most will say you cant surf it in fat waves...well i dissagree, once you find that sweet paddling spot it rocks...get it in the beachies and it is happy days.

I'm big fan of rockers,so much so I took the Fireball Evo square tail rocker and put it on a UFO outline which is prefect for the points, easer paddler, more surface on the water works a treat, more speed, verse the UFO 3 stage rocker which is suited better to beach breaks imo.
I've used the Fireball Evo square tail rocker on anther board which also works a treat.
