Flipping a coin between a Merrick CI Wizard Sleeve, or The Robber, in a 6'10 funboard size. Most of my so called short boards are a fraction up sized, to keep my wave counts high !!

PerformerII Merrick 9'1 Mal in Blue Tints.

7'10 Soft Diamond Tail Triple Stringer, cruiser / shooter.

9'6 Merrick Big Gun.

Quiver gets thinned out by 5, with 4 potential arrivals.

A nose rider

Yes, I know how stupid that sounds given my overall ability, or lack of.

But if I could find one that would put up with having a 100 kg + lump stuck on the end of it for a few seconds, I think I may have a chance of doing it.

A 9'6" in the pink may do the job but it would cost me near a grand and a half to find out for sure

Hahaha obct, wouldn't that be nice.Same same here.

Could you not demo a ITP Hired a 9.1 in Hawaii sometime
ago,it lacked volume for me but wouldn't mind giving another
one a go with the right volume.

Just on the DT's,I was at my board store on the weekend and
a guy rocks up asking for a DT Scorpion and I note the king himself
Billboard is also keen on one as well.

Waiting for the new 9'6" to arrive should be here this week or next - thinking of doing a weekend trip to Cressent when she arives, lot of driving but would be worth it if there's a good forecast to have the first "head wetting" there.

Depending on how it goes I might get another same length little more rocker with a bit of width pulled out of the nose and a pin tail for the local beaches.

After that is some sort of biscuit/pod/bonzer/hull 6'10" board for next summer, just to hard to ride my shortboard in crappy mush just not enough planning area. And a new 6'10" shortboard for next winter or maybe this one depending on how the current one holds up.

If I could find a good used Kiterace board for a good price I might snap one up for the winter kiting.

Just have to finish some sanding and then the SUP is finished for small days I'm too lazy to surf. Yes it has taken this long.

All I need is some decent banks in Manly and I'm gold.

Check out Wilde (Mona Vale), Clearwater (Dripping Wet - Pittwater St Store by Mitre 10), or ZED (new old sea foam I had a Nose rider Sea Foam great board then I snapped it ) Byron Custom Custom Custom, even the redline would be good.

If your keen for an in the pink Dripping Wet can bring them in (haven't seen one on the rack) as they're a stockist.

yeah cc, my trip north is due at the end of April and I always say to myself, I must pull into Crescent, but I never do it. Too many good riders in too small an area for me to compete with.

Back to my nose rider, I doubt I'd ever be able to get my hands on a 9'6" ITP loaner but it would be nice.

the only reason I'm thinking this way is because I'm going so well on the 10'6" Munoz and it would rate as one of the most un-nose ridable boards on the planet.

Even if you paddle a half inch further forward than you should, it will pearl in an instance.

I've seen a couple of guys that ride this model and the 11' one really well and they don't even bother to wax for the first 12"s or so.

Yet as bad as they are, I can still manage a cheat'n 5 on the odd occasion and that's inspired me.

Even though my local shop has the 10'2" DT/NR on the shelf, I still reckon the 9'6" would be preferable because it's got a width of 23.75 rather than 23.25 plus a thicker nose and another 2cc of volume.

Might have to sell a SUP, or 2 or 3 to make that wish come true

We can probably haggle ! The fin alone is $75.... Without a fin, there could be more room to haggle!

Actually.... probably can't haggle much.

The board quotes from CI are too good to pass up...
Which means Doggie probably scores a 6'6 single!

Mac, I average 3 boards per year. Maybe just over.
