I have seen a couple of kneels of late with them as well and ac couple of surfers. Just because I live in Glen Winton territory doesn't mean they are still in fashion ! !

Tried them once back once upon a time when I was young and rode a bodyboard during SA's freezing autumn swells. Did they work? Well they made my hands warmer. Did I paddle faster? I guess I could have - if you had the strength to lift all that material out of the water. Two surfs and I threw them away.
