Global Financial Crisis !

Ok - lets get something cleared up so we all know where we stand.
As of last weekend I only surf sups as I am no longer physically capable of surfing a prone board.
Any thread I start, as such will probably have some reference or pic or whatever to sup.
I post in this room cos there are people I respect and enjoy conversing with and it doesnt end up a giant wankfest - usually.

KNOWING THESE THINGS - IF SUP OFFENDS YOU THEN DONT READ ANY OF MY POSTS.

people come on this forum cause its the most laid back,have a good laugh and smash each other up in good jest. i say keep it to longboarding or funny crap,even have a drunken rant.....BUT TAKE YOUR FU$KEN SUP TALK back to the sup forum where all the experts on everthing can criticise,disect and tear you down with their oh so knowledgable and friendly ways viva the long board lifestyle

bb i hope you're sharing thoses waves down there.Hows this chrispy and i on a bank to ourselves and the same bloke 2 days running just about sat on chrispys lap,i don't mind sharing but to paddle up to you and close enough to kiss someone ,maybe he had the hots for chrispy???

Actually havent surfed since woolgoolga - but will be out with boofy on wed' down fingal way.

Tell ya a funny story (probably shouldn't be admitting to this)
Last weekend I was surfing down the coast with obct and I was sitting on a nice punchy bank with a shortboarder and after a couple of really nice waves the shortboarder comments on my ability to handle a very late take-off on a longboard. I tell him that I have a bit of a reputation with my mates for my late take-offs as well but its got nothing to do with being skilled or brave but more so to do with the fact that for so many years I just haven't seen em coming till it was on me, so I just go - and luckily have perfected making most of them The poor old shortboarder caught the next one and went in - think I scared him

One thing I will recommend... Don't learn to surf on a SUP. Guys who can surf on SUP's are cool, and guys who can't just give SUP a bad name!

The Long Room is probably best suited to Longboarding though. But I still enjoyed your pics BB.

And because there's no "Midlength Room", I sneak midlength talk into this forum too!

I feel very comfy in here,we surf,laugh,piss,drink,eat and even sleep together here and don't need that stick thing for balance,we ride true surfboards from the true roots of surfing,something some can't deal with, normally the so called pioneers next door,life should be easy and not so serious.Lacey get yourself a mal mate
