Was I the only one to get a few waves in on Sunday?

Went down to one of the spots approx 1 hour south of Perth and had it more or less to myself 7am to 9am where the local mob turned up...

Although the wind was a bit on and off I still got heaps of waves..

VERY HAPPY !!!

Bathurst was on, I checked the charts had mates txt me all morning but I sat and watched the TV until 1pm

I did feel a bit guilty for missing great surf but I hate to miss the big race

Thats shocking bro....

Lets examine the facts :

1. You just had a recent birthday
2. You have tried to SUP in the last year
3. You just bought a single fin Egg
4. You missed surf to watch TV

...at glance I would say your having some kind of mid-life crisis you should book a ticket somewhere tropical

2. You have tried to SUP in the last year - Yes I did, I cheated I didnt use the paddle. I used my hands
3. You just bought a single fin Egg - Yes I did, its only a 6,4
4. You missed surf to watch TV - This is also true but I havnt missed a race since I was three so, um, yea I did

Lol na, I dont mind them but as an owner of a 2004 SS 5.7lt 6 speed manual I really like Holdens.

But as far as the race goes Im more interested in drivers than cars. I was hoping Murf would get up there but pit work let them down

Had a decent little sesh around midday at Mettams on Sundee.

Couple of SUPs and about a dozen spread out when I arrived with the kids, but 30 mins later when I got to paddle out there was just me and 4 others.

Not the greatest conditions ever and got heaps (by my standards) of fun Lefts and Rights. Had a great time. Perfect waves for me new-ish 8'6"

Was bit nervy at overcast conditions but.
