I know you guys don't specialise in these soft top boards, but what should I do to get some traction on the soft board. We used to wax the last soft board, but someone said we should use a scouring pad to rough up the foam instead. I was too slippery to be left as is.

Thoughts?

Scouring pad will damage the finish - which could lead to more problems down the track...

Boogie Boarders wax their lids - which is basically the same type of 'foam'... so IMHO I would suggest you wax it like a normal surfboard.

[just don't use acetone to remove it ]

isopropyl alcohol is foam safe for cleaning wax off. Thanks for the body board tip.
