As you blokes probably guessed from my posts I am sports crazy . AFL , League , Rugby Cricket , long as it's a close game love to listen to the sports on the radio . Wondering has anyone found a good radio to use in the surf so I can keep up to date with the footy while I am out in the surf , maybe even listen to some music .
The only ones I have seen have been the swimming type which strap to swimming goggles with earphones attached .don't know how earphones would go getting a pounding in the surf .

Not sure but those blokes in the 666 room a few years back had some discussion on this very subject.

We had one of these once

And it was rubbish. Pain the neck and waste of good old hard earned cashola.

I reckon if you found something decent that worked you could just retro-fit your wettie - maybe make a little pouch on the back of it up by your shoulders and stick it in there.

Personally I enjoy the piece and quiet when out surfing But have also thought about it on more than one occasion.

Must admit I prefer the silence 99 percent of the time as well , just when I know there is a good game on I wish I could keep up with the score .
You are right Ted it wouldn't be too hard to place a pouch in the wetsuit somewhere if I could find a good small radio . Something along the lines of the battery pouch in the heated vest .

Have seen one that is like a pair of earphones suppose I could wear that and chuck the hood over the top of it to keep it on .

The only floater I can manage is done in a small room with very little cheering

That goal cost me 3 multis - lets just say around $300 ahhhhh. I had picked like a champion for all other results except that one

Pretty hard to pick winners in the AFL this year Ted the different teams form is so up and down . Teams like the kangaroos , the blues , the dockers canplay like absolute champions one week and get flogged next week . I would hate to be the coach what little hair I have left would be torn out . The form in the League seems much more consistent
