I have 9'6 Brewer Nose Rider that goes unreal, but I'm not riding it much at the minute.

Tufflite is a really good platform for learning to surf, and for a first longboard. Really hard to put big dings in them.

Not my cup of tea! I have had about 5 Surftechs and gradually got rid of them all.
I found the performance based ones (2+1 fin setup and about 9:2) better than the single fin logs. I found that on the smaller and messier days they lack the momentum and can struggle to get down the face of the wave. I often found myself stuck high up on the face waiting for my 9:8 Takayama Double Ender to take off down the line. The performance boards allowed me to take off later and generate speed that way.
I have a PU 9:6 In The Pink and surfed a couple of Surftechs of the same board prior to buying the PU. I didn't enjoy the Surftechs at all but the PU is one of the best boards I have had.
In the end it comes down to the type of surf you will surf the most, and the way that you want to surf it.
If you are thinking about a 9:8 single fin or bigger I would sugest stay away from the Surftechs.

I'm still riding my 8 ft tufflite after 8 years. It's had a beating.

Hi. I've had 3 surftechs. Currently riding the Dino Miranda 9'4" as a single fin. Board is brilliant. Will keep this one forever.

i have 1 a 7'6

you know some times you just have to run?

i was paddling in, got caught in a rip , paddled to the rocks and got out.. then a monster wave came... i dropped the board and ran and jumped and landed in a pool. board still on my leg :)

couple of scratches

would hate to think of the state of my nice board in that situation

so if you have to run.. they are good .
