I know a lot of you guys aren't into Tuflites but I have a question. Is it possible that the same model (late nineties) can be different from board to board? Everything is machine made so identical I would have thought. I had a loan of a 10 6 a couple of years ago and didn't really like it. Too much rocker I thought. I have just picked up the same board and it seems flatter and I love it. I also had a 10ft Robert August Mike Doyle and few years ago. Another guy had one and we swapped in the water for ten minutes. I am sure his floated and had slightly more glide than mine. Only small difference but still different. Maybe my old feeble mind is just playing tricks. Any thoughts? cheers

Is that the 10'6" Munoz that was recently up for sale?
I'm no expert, but I doubt there was much board-to-board variation. However, I wouldn't rule out design changes over the years?
So, probably not too much 'accidental' variation, but maybe some deliberate changes as time went on?

Yes that is the one. Saw it on Gumtree and thought it would have sold quickly so didn't bother. Looked a week or two later and it was still there so rang. Nice drive to Bathurst and a coffee with the seller who was a top bloke. AHH the glide.

Awesome that you bought that Munoz Big Mc. I thought the same as I saved it on my GT and two weeks later it was still there.
Let us know what you think after a few surfs!

How its sanded and glassed can have an effect and neither of those are done by a machine..alos the blanks are hand finished so if the blokes taken too much out of the board somewhere it could ride very differently
