the bloke makes excellent boards....i would way rather a tufflite than a gsi piece of ****,as the tufflite are pretty much bullet proof...the flatter rocker will give you heaps of wave catching fun....go buy it now

Thanks guys by any chance are you Tolhurst enthusiasts.

Also Mc T guys I am very happy with my Evo 2 however just looking to add to my quiver with a board that for me is more user friendly for the hard to catch wave but I do not want a log style.

Also from my surfing experience in prone, Windsurfing, kite surfing and SUP - light and shortish is good mixed with width, rocker and volume for me at 76 kg.

From all my surfing likes my weakest skill wise is prone LB so keen to improve.

not at all mate...but the billy boards i have seen have been crazy nice....as for the tufflite,i know those things are bullet proof.
yep munro makes nice boards,as does gary burden from astro...but the op was asking about billy...me im in love with mr steve del rosso from clearwater surfboard fame

Yes it's foam..a real special board and the most I kick myself up the ar*e for selling..nose block,twin ply stringers,floral inlay..

Mostly you see Tolhurst HP mals but Billy also makes a nice log..I have a mate who has a few.no sharpe edges ..really nice.

I also had this Tolly..7'4" hull..loose as a goooose.

I rode the 9'6 and didnt like it. If youre going to ride a light tufflite board you might as well get a more performance shape.

I've got the 9'6" Tolhurst ST; fast board but slow to paddle with the ridiculous fins that it comes with- M5 sides plus 7" centre- feels like an anchor hanging off the back end. Swapped to 9" soulglide or 9.25 Skyp Fry single, what a massive difference! Crazy fast, the single fin sets this board onfire! Some loss of stabilty with no side fins, but speed leaves you laughing. Can get a little hard to control when gets bigger, but then you just switch back to tri fins.

Yeah..I had a Billy 6'10" fish in Tuflite..best short board ever..
