Looks like I'll be going to Woopi on Thursday to attend a funeral in Coffs on Friday.

Sad, she was 92 but had an very full and rewarding life. I'll mostly be there to represent mum, they were mates for near on 70 years.

Anyhow, if I'm going all that way I may as well make a surfing weekend of it, may even have a look at BBs favorite point break and get in a bit of paddling practice.

Any idea of the swell forecast, not that it matters to someone like me, matter-o-fact, the smaller the better

Rav 4 kinda metallic dark blue, I sent you the mob number.

If it's too big I'll just be surf'n a camera

I'll probably walk up the pub for a counter on Thursday night and avoid annoying my mate. He'll be busy arranging stuff for his mums send off on Friday.

Friday night I'm pretty sure there'll be a big wake somwhere, they're like the Irish up there.

You know the old joke.... What's the diff between a woopi wedding and a woopi wake? .... one less drunk!!

All good. We were actually thinking about heading into the RSL on thursday will catch up thursday for a wave hopefully. As you know Arra wont be too big unless coffs is over 6ft. Dont worry we aren't all that gung-ho either. Really hoping to catch Mulla before the swell picks up too much - its my fave wave ever (sth end)
Safe trip mate - c u in paradise.

Yeah BB the woopi rissole club is probably a lot better for me, they usually have a good solid roast on at a very reasonable price.

At night the pub can be a bit up and down as far as the quality goes. I prefer the counter lunches at the pub to their meals at night.

At night they try to get a bit ladeda whereas the lunches are nice simple meat and veg. They used to do a good corned beef of a saturday.

Martman, I know Moonee very well but I've never surfed there, bit of a hike to the break. I think it's only about 10 minutes past pelican.

I believe Scott Dillon has his surf museum somewhere close to there.

Something just came up at work so I'm going to have to cancel.

You wouldn't think it was just a part time job.

The problem is, the meeting relates to the full time job I want in November with the same company so I don't want to upset anyone.

Sorry BB, I was looking forward to a wave or 2 with you.

The hardest part will be calling my mate and telling mum
