Do you ever wish you could bottle a certain wave

Just that one type of wave that suits that one type of board you have and that one type of styling you like to do the most and you know it's within your limits.

Had that happen today.

Wasn't even a big wave or a long wave, it was just the right wave for me.

I wish I could take it with me in a bottle and pour it in the ocean whenever I needed to feel good about myself

Sounds like your all a buzz, its a good feeling for sure.
I always remember those waves and the less in the bottle
the more I talk to myself about it and if the bottles getting
empty, your going to hear about it as well

But hey, isn't that why we keep going back just for that one wave

You must have had one of those good surfs obct where it all comes together.
Sometimes when I'm driving past a lake or a river thats glassed off I picture a 4 foot peak coming right through the middle of it.
I saw an ad on TV where there is some report on those brown glassy peelers somewhere in the Amazon. Channel 9 I think.

It was just one wave on a very average day.

The surface was like oil and it never got much above waist high but it started easy, walled up quickly, flattened out and then came at me from the other direction.

I got across the face fast, pumping out a half a dozen little roller roasters along the way. Cutback hard when second peak came, took 2 steps forward on my backhand to stay on, took 2 steps backwards and tuned right again before a kickout that landed me back on the board for the paddle out.

Nothing special, just simple stuff that I try to do all the time but never seems to do them all, just bits of them.

I want that wave to visit me again some time.
