Went out at isolators in Perth today , quite crowded but good vibe and then I remembered why I don't surf there any more or on weekends , old boys who think because they have been surfing a spot for years they can drop in on anyone they want and mouth off about it when they get called .
This fella thought because he pulled off three quarters though the wave he did the right thing , I called him and then said thanks buddy after he pulled out and he got agro , I thought about punching him in the face and then reconsidered because I might have killed him or worse been sued by the prick .
I did watch him for a while and he continued to drop in on everyone he could
Rant over- better now
Cheers

Iso';s is my favourite wave. Started surfing it in the early 70's. hardly ever surf it anymore, especially on weekends. The guys who surf it now think they own the place and have their own little clique.
Every now and then during the week you can get it with only 15 guys out, sometimes if you're really lucky even less. At those special times it is really a joy wave and has some of my special memories.
