Couldn't agree more...nothing better than going surfing when its 6 foot offshore and the temp is yet to hit double digits...keeps the kooks at home

Loving this time of year - and loving the crowds at the moment. Scored a certain very popular point break this morning TO MYSELF for over an hour, and even then only had to share it with 3 others - it did mean a 6am start though, but it wasn't all that cold this morning on the water. Was anyone else on the water to see all the steam coming off the water when the sun came up - it is so beautiful and even a bit eery paddling around on your own through the mist.

Dee Why/Longy is the same....

Nice when it does come up though and it doesn't keep all the Kooks at home

I'm about to go and have a second look for today. There is a couple of little grovellers there that could be caught on the 10 footer.

Got back about half an hour ago. Nice knee to waist high waves. The water was fairly warm as well. The swell is starting to pick up a bit out of the south.

My bearings could be rusty
I'll go to a place where no sup'er is game to go if we don't get a pulse in swell overnight.

Winter must be nice on the Goldy with miles of beaches and banks. Keeps the crowds off the pointbreaks I'd reckon.
