One of the last unspoilt places on Bali`s coast line with clean unpolluted beaches, undeveloped cliff faces and abundant wildlife. Surrounded by some of the best breaks on the planet (Padang Padang,Impossibles and Bingin) and they are about to destroy it!! 80+ hotel like rooms and villas...bulldozers have arrived at the site and a ceremony has commenced to begin earthworks (in particular shaving off 70 meters of cliff face on a downward slope to sea level) Just one of the terrible things they have in mind. This is so far the worst of many developments that have been granted permit "illegally?" in Bali since they supposedly froze new 5 star hotel construction, but now they say a permit can be granted because of a simple change of category "CONDOTEL" a condotel that includes 3 restaurants, conference facilities, gymnasium and shops, 80+ rooms, most without kitchens.....sound like hotel rooms to me?.

Just look at Ulu as well, not much we can do as corruption is the devil here [}:)]
