How do you forget your board

You know SP I can't work this sh**** t out.

Peolpe on 666 page are always losing paddles and now someone has lost a board cover and all. How the **** does that happen.

Lets think about this for a moment, let's say you are a SUPsurfer, OK, you go for a surf, have waves and enjoy yourself. You leave the water thinking, **** man that was great. Walk on up to the car, put your board and paddle down, get your keys, open the door, towel out, dry off, get changed.

Now here's the thing, you put board on the roof, you then get in the car and drive off. When you get home you look at the car and go **** where is my board, oh that's right I didn't tie it on. Then you go I am sure I put it on the roof but it's not there now. No **** really it's not there cause you didn't tie it on.
Next brainwave, wait where's my paddle, oh ****, don't tell I've lost that too, oh yeah, it's not lost I just left it in the carpark, no worries because there are heaps of honest people who will put post on Seabreeze to tell me they have found it.

This is what puzzles me, you are a surfer, LB or SUP, it doesn't really matter, you go surfing, you get back to your car, you go home, Oh ****, I have left my **** at the beach. The problem here is that you now can't surf because you left your **** at the beach.

Its not rocket science, before you get in the car, take a little walk around you car, it's not very far, look for stuff you may have brought with you and if you see something pick it up and put it in you car.
Second bit of advice, tie your boards on the roof, don't just put them there because as sure as **** when you get to about 60kmh they ill fall off andyou probably wont know till you get home and read it on Seabreeze.

No offence meant to anyone by this but come on think about it.
