Hey everyone,

I'm new to the area, i'm From America and surf on the east coast there, been teaching lessons for a few years and have traveled around a lot. Haven't been able to find a good spot in the perth area that isn't closing out. Looking for anywhere with long lines, Any advice?

I'm also traveling to Bali in 3 weeks, any spots I shouldn't miss there if i'm staying in Kuta?

Thanks for the help!

Gday Jill, welcome mate.

No go on the "long lines" round here.

Ur best bet is maybee mettams at north beach or maybee down Cottesloe way.
Not too many seriouse longboarders get through bali either from my experience.
Sorry for the bad news mate

This summer has been fairly dismal on the wave front. Winter will produce better conditions as will hopefully autumn.

Should the swell increase you will find some longboarding waves around Cottesloe. Mandurah, about 75 kms south of Perth has some great waves on its day. However, both of these areas get crowded when a decent swell hits.

You're right there is no surf in Mandurah so you don't need to come down here. In fact can everyone read this and not come down to Mandurah because there is no surf here.
