still a few onshore waves around firstpoint at low tide,not that good at full tide,plenty of peeps practicing,it kicks off this arvo with all sorts of circus events.
dog surfing,nipper surfing,clubbie v surfer surfing,body surfing,backpacker surfing(really),Peruvian straw boat surfing, over 70's and a weekend of token 666 events pretending to be attached to the festival,.
Monday sees the surfing start with the o65's out at 6.30 am,high tide(2.1mtrs) there will probably be some heats held down between the rockwalls.
goodluck to anyone from seabreeze entered,we will be staying away from the whole 8 days of 700 competitors

It used to be such a great place...even as late as the 80's you could get a wave there.

Now it's just a circus, even when it's not real good.

Bad luck for the Festival.... it's as flat as a tack

jarrett ,has Foxtel and cameras everywhere,bigger than ben hur,it would be ok with the locals if it was 3-4 days mac.they( competitors)have been here for weeks trying to run roughshod over the locals,teatree has 60 out most days from dawn till dusk.there where 500 or more cars at DI last week,couldnt get a park on the northern side,
