Hi fellow surfers. I need some help finding a surfer I had a run in with today. First off let me say that I was definitely in the wrong on this one, but this angry man got really aggressive towards me after he collided with me while we were both surfing the wave. After coming up for air, and before I could even get my bearings let alone explain that I didn't think he was going to make the section, he paddled over to me and punched me in my face. Before this happened the whole session him and his friends were being really unfriendly; intimidating me, calling me names, telling me to go home. Which I can handle. But physical violence isn't acceptable, that's crossing the line. This all happened today at Trigg Beach around midday. If anyone was there and saw the interaction, I'd love to hear from you. Or if you surf there regularly you might know this guy. I managed to snap a quick photo of him and his friends after my surf. He's the one on the far right. If you know his name or have any other information on him or his friends, please message me.
UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who's messaged me about this guy. Turns out he's a real piece of work. Someone actually managed to catch the incident on video. I've passed it onto the cops, and they've said they're going to make a house arrest tomorrow.
