Gotta agree with ya, some people, not all, treat the locals like slaves. It burns me up as they such nice, friendly people.

That forum post is a good read. I would love to know how accurate it is and what rubbish was being spread by the the two culprits once they got home, I can only imagine.

I remember saying to the guy that ran out into the water and first jumped into the boat with us ,the one that didn't do the beating

My friend and i agreed to let them edit our bits out as we were making AI and Kelly look a bit pedestrian!!

Good question. I guess it would depend on the actual day to day workload. I've probably do it for next to nothing short term...alternatively I would do it short term for free and have what would be my wage donated to helping fund any local community projects; but long term I'd want to be walking away with some prospect of having saved some cash.

I know a couple of surf guides who work out of the Ments and the going rate is about $150USD per week/trip. All your food and accom is covered, and there's not much else to buy out on the islands.

These guys supplement their income by taking photos and selling them to guests.

Its definitely what you'd call a lifestyle job, guaranteed to fill your stoke levels but unlikely to pay the mortgage on that Beach Pad near Cott...
