What do you use to keep your foot straps from getting smushed when you flip your board over to take the foil out. I'm sure a pool noodle could work, tennis balls are a bit big. Interested to know if anyone has any great ideas?

I use old blocks of PE packaging foam, just round of the corners.

Pool noodle would work well unless you have the straps set really loose.

I don't have blue balls. Stress balls might be the way to go?

A couple of foam balls from the $2 shop.

For me it was having the board in the bag stored up in the rack. The rear strap would crush down and make it more difficult to get my foot in on the fly. The foam balls fixed that.

I wouldn't put the balls or noodles or whatever into the straps when working on the foil. They make the board unstable and it can fall over with the weight of the foil. A couple of times mine has fallen and knocked a big hole in the grass. I would cry if it fell and the tip of the foil hit something hard.

Yeah- good advice that would suck to damage a foil. I only rig on grass and have a fairly wide board. Just need something so I don't crush the straps while putting downward force on the foil when installing, as it's a nice snug fit.

Yes that foam would work great.

Better then what I thought of. But I have seen someone with what looked to be ankle weights in the straps. I guess if you don't mind the weight

Pickle balls. Tennis balls. Pool noodles cut to a few cm length.
