IQFoil often isn't in the daily view of a lot of folks here but hard to ignore the halo effect we get from it. Nice to pull up a major sailing YT channel and have windsurfing mentioned along with other Olympic classes, SailGP, Imocas, etc. Incidentally, at least two IQFoilers have crossed over to SailGP/AC as well. I get that most of us here aren't into VMG* sailing but we can certainly enjoy the glow from their efforts.

btw, at the recent Worlds, the level of talent has been insane. Looking at the top 10 in the mens, for example, it's littered with names that in normal PWA, etc competition would just dominate.

* On lighter days and when I want to break out beyond the bounds of my little sailing area, VMG is super fun.

It certainly does keep a little bit of light shining on windsurfing (the thing with the kite for my non sailing friends).

i too love getting out on the iq when the breeze isn’t ballistic. Its the third fastest VMG sailing method for going up and down the river where i am.
