I used a tip that I think I got from WhiteofHeart and it really helped me smooth out my foot work. When ever I had a minute or two at home I would set the board on something soft and just do the foot switch over and over again. Instead of holding the boom I had a drink in my hand.

Thanks. Yeah that's a good tip about the footwork practice, Initially I was stepping on or in front of the foot strap when I just needed a little sliiide into it.
