OK......before I talk about this foil a massive disclaimer, I designed it!!! I will try to be as objective as possible but you are free to not beleive a word I write.
So, what is this foil? I have been involved in a few foil projects for the last few years, some of you may know I had a fin brand called Atomicsurf and I was designing windsurf fins as well. Recently Jacko at One Ocean Sports has allowed me to indulge my design addiction and design some foils and masts for him. This particular front wing is a bit of a selfish design, its the front wing I really wanted....
It is designed as an all rounder hence the "All Terrain" name, primarily for wing and for me freeride windfoiling, but can also cross over to prone and freestyle and probably parawing....I have been involved in the Windfoil side of the testing and have now been riding the production wing for a couple of months in all sorts of wind strenths and water states.
The stats.......The projected area is 980cm2 with a span of 940mm giving an AR of 9:1. The foil profile varies along its span but effectively has a moderate camber and a small amount of rear loading (the concave near the trailing edge on the high pressure side)
It has moderate anhedral turning to slight dihedral in the tips (upturned). The plan shape keeps a decent chord length nearer the fuselage and narrows down to fairly fine tips.

The foil has pretty good lift and gets up with little effort. It accelerates to a decent top end speed and upwind it's very stable. I would describe it as very user freindly. Downwind it has good speed and glide and rolls into a turn very easily. The stall speed is quite low so its forgiving when you go a bit dumbo on the gybe.... So it sounds a bit boring right???
Wrong, it is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Get athletic with it and it rewards you. Push it for speed and it responds, if you give it some power and have the courage it's a fast wing. Likewise downwind if you get more aggressive in the turns it responds. This thing carves hard and grips, awesome fun on some swell.
It also has a massive wind range. I used it yesterday on my Tribal Foil Slalom board with a 7.0 in probably 13 to 18 knots and flat water. It got me up pretty easy at my 90 +kilos. At the other end of the scale I have ridden it in 30 to 35 knots and 2 meter Port Phillip Bay steep swell and it was doable, actually never had me wishing I was on a smaller foil. It is almost a one wing quiver for me ( I also really like the 800 AT but I will use that more in the Summer when we have steadier seabreezes and not the gusty and blustery winter conditions)
So for the type of foiling I love which is blasting upwind and chasing swell back, carving up the faces as best I can, this foil is a winner......I really, really like it.

It is compatible with the Axis Black fuselages, Axis do a Windfoiling fuse which is great. One Ocean have Titanium fuselages for winging but at the moment no windfoil fuse, the one you see in these photos is a custom.

As I said...I am the designer so you can call BS on everything I have written however I have ridden quite a lot of foils both my own designs and other brands and I highly rate this foil wing....

Oh...and as a PS to this post. I recently purchased an Ezzy Cross 5.7 for freeride windfoiling.......its awesome, stable, fast and just plain easy.....
